Lars Moen is a visiting student research collaborator in the Department of Politics at Princeton and a PhD candidate at the Australian National University. Lars specializes in political philosophy, and his primary focus is currently on analysing concepts of political freedom. His doctoral dissertation examines the concept of republican freedom, and shows how its modern interpretation threatens the distinction between republicanism and liberalism. In addition to his doctoral research, Lars works on political liberalism and group agency. He holds a BA in politics and history from the University of Auckland and an MSc in political theory from the University of Oxford.
