Joy Shim is a fifth-year graduate student in the Department of Philosophy. She works primarily at the intersection of philosophy of mind and social philosophy, with serious side interests in aesthetics, philosophy of language, and moral psychology. Her dissertation explores the representational nature of perspectives, especially as they apply to groups. Before coming to Princeton, she received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto.
