This month, students from UCHV’s Research Film Studio, together with RFS director Erika Kiss, went to Mallorca’s University Art Biennale to present their updated “ArtHouse Memes” exhibit, which was on view at the Venice Art Biennale last year.
While in Mallorca, the students worked hard to install the exhibition, which was visited and praised by the President of the Balearic Islands and high representatives of Mallorca’s Culture and City Hall. They also attended Erika Kiss’ exhibition and keynote and the closing party and award ceremony.
The students took a trip to Venice to view Research Film Studio’s “Genius Loci” exhibition, currently on view at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

Matthew Okechukwu, Alvaro Machado Basso, Al Potter, Joe McCauley, Olivia Williams, Ela Gebremariam, Yuchen Shi, Christofer Robles, Isabel Irwin, and Alexia Paunescu were the students selected to participate in the trip.
