Jan–Werner Mueller will speak at a hearing of the Danish Parliament′s European Affairs Committee on ‘Safeguarding the Fundamental Values of the European Union’. The hearing is scheduled for March 12.

Mueller has for a number of years proposed a new institution somewhat analogous to the Council of Europe′s Venice Commission, to monitor and protect democracy and the rule of law in the EU.
