Applications for Faculty Sabbatical Fellows are open

Feb. 19, 2024

The University Center for Human Values (UCHV) fosters ongoing inquiry into important ethical issues in private and public life and supports teaching, research, and discussion of ethics and human values throughout the curriculum and across the disciplines at Princeton University. The Center strives to provide the larger community with the space and resources to reflect systematically about fundamental questions of value—how we should understand our moral identities, how we should treat each other, and how we should try to shape our world.

In this context, UCHV is accepting first time applications for a pilot program of two Princeton Faculty Sabbatical Fellows for the 2024-25 academic year (and expects in due course to do so again for the 2025-26 academic year). This program is designed to provide additional research time for Princeton University faculty members who are associate or full professors, whose work has an explicit connection to human values broadly defined, while enhancing the involvement of such faculty with some stream of activities within the University Center.

Eligible Princeton faculty can learn more about the fellowship and apply here.
