David Zuluaga Martinez

Graduate Prize Fellow

David Zuluaga Martínez is a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Politics. His research interests include the history of political thought, ethics, and 19th century German philosophy. David is writing his dissertation on the idea of political legitimacy. He argues that the value of legitimacy is independent of ideals of social justice, and that reflection on justifiable forms of political action should be guided by considerations of institutional legitimacy. David holds a B.A. in philosophy from Harvard University.
