Pettit Receives Guggenheim Fellowship

Philip Pettit, the Laurance S. Rockefeller University Professor of Politics and the University Center for Human Values and director of the Program in Political Philosophy, was awarded a 2010 Guggenheim Fellowships this spring.

Chosen from a group of 3,000 candidates for his project "A Civic Republican Theory of Democracy," Pettit is one of nine Princeton faculty members to receive the distinction this year.
