Anthony Appiah to deliver the 2008 - 2009 Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Lectures in Philosophy on March 24-26

Prof. Anthony Appiah, Laurance S. Rockefeller University Professor of Philosophy and the University Center for Human Values, will deliver the 

2008 - 2009 Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Lectures in Philosophy.

  

The lecture series is titled: "The Life of Honor?"

 

March 24:  The Death of the Duel

March 25: The End of Footbinding

March 26: Lessons and Legacies

 

 

All three lectures will be held in McCosh 10, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

 

The lecture series is sponsored by the the Phi Beta Kappa Society, in association with Princeton University and The Beta Chapter of New Jersey.
