This past June, six Ph.D. students from Princeton took part in an intense three-day seminar on “The State of Exception: Normative, Legal, and Historical Perspectives” held in Berlin under the auspices of the Princeton-Humboldt University strategic partnership.

Following the success of the inaugural workshop in 2014, the second workshop will take place at Princeton August 16-19. It will bring together 12 faculty mentors and 35 graduate student women in philosophy, drawn from a range of schools, PhD program stages, and areas of interest.
